Set up guidePlease ensure that you are set up at least 10 minutes before your class begins. Step 1: Set up your space Get a Pilates mat. A Pilates mat is thicker than a yoga mat. Pilates exercises involve rolling on your spine. The extra thickness will give you better support and comfort. Find a quiet location so you can focus on the right movements. This is a virtual Pilates class, so you will need your computer, smartphone, or tablet with internet access. Place your device on a stable surface, far enough for you to be able to look at your instructor and not kick your device off accidentally. Step 2: Set up your technology We will be using Zoom video conferencing for our online Pilates classes. If you are using your computer, you can download the plugin or click on the web link that we provide. If you are using a smartphone or tablet, please download the Zoom app before hand. After you book your class you will receive an email with a link. Five minutes before your class begins simply click on the link. Your instructor will verify your registration and approve your entry into the virtual class. Ensure your computer, smartphone, or tablet is charged or plugged into a power source prior to the lesson. Step 3: Set up your body Wear something comfortable. Have a bottle of water on hand in case you need to drink.
